what is difference between RIp version1 and Rip version 2

Today i am going to discuss about difference  Routing Information protocol(RIP) version 1 and 2

RIP VERSION1                                                                                 RIP VERSION2

It is classful                                                                                         it is classless

it does not support vlsm                                                                     it support vlsm

does not send subnet mask with periodic update                               send subnet mask with periodic                                                                                                                 updates

uses 255.255.255.255 to send periodic update                                   uses 224.0.0.9 to send the                                                                                                                         periodic update
